The beam that comes out of this pod is NOT a laser, however, the light source deep inside this pod uses a laser diode phosphorus combination to safely create a narrow white beam. At only 1000 Lumens, this beam is safe to use outdoors. Great for use as safety/visibility lights, spotlights, search beacons, or alien hunting!
